In a statement issued on Monday by Kayode Adegoke, NIMC’s head of corporate communications, the commission emphasized the importance of using only the designated platform to maintain data security and integrity. “To ensure the security and integrity of your NIN data, modifications should only be carried out via the official NIMC self-service portal: selfservicemodification.nimc.gov.ng ,” the statement read. NIMC cautioned against using unauthorized websites for modifications, warning that doing so could expose individuals to identity theft and data breaches.
