Kane Hat Trick Powers Bayern to 6-0 Rout of Leipzig in Bundesliga Opener

Harry Kane opened Bayern Munich’s Bundesliga title defense in style, scoring a hat trick as the champions dismantled RB Leipzig 6-0 on Friday.

Bayern dominated from the start, with Michael Olise and Luis Díaz shining alongside Kane. Olise struck the opener in the 27th minute, before Díaz doubled the lead just five minutes later with a powerful finish off the underside of the crossbar. Olise then made it 3-0 almost immediately, thanks to slick work from Serge Gnabry.

Leipzig showed brief improvement after halftime, with Antonio Nusa going close and even having a goal ruled out. However, their resistance quickly collapsed as Kane took over the show. The England captain made it 4-0 in the 64th minute after collecting Díaz’s pass, added his second in the 74th, and completed his hat trick just four minutes later.

Díaz also provided two assists on his Bundesliga debut, while Olise’s brace highlighted Bayern’s attacking depth. Despite making multiple substitutions, coach Vincent Kompany’s side kept their intensity, leaving Leipzig overwhelmed.

The emphatic win sets the tone for Bayern’s title defense, with Kane’s finishing and the team’s fluid attack sending a strong message to rivals.
