Chelsea Slash Nicolas Jackson’s Valuation to £60m as Exit Nears

Chelsea have reportedly lowered their asking price for striker Nicolas Jackson to around £60 million, with clubs such as Bayern Munich, Newcastle United, and Aston Villa monitoring his situation.

The Senegal international has been Chelsea’s first-choice centre-forward for the past two seasons, scoring 10 goals in 30 Premier League appearances last campaign. However, with the arrivals of Joao Pedro and Liam Delap this summer, Jackson has slipped down the pecking order and is believed to have informed the club of his desire to leave in search of regular football. He has not featured for the Blues since the Club World Cup.

Initially valued between £80m and £100m, Chelsea have now cut their demands to £60m, according to The Mirror. Although still a sizeable figure, the reduction is seen as a realistic compromise with less than two weeks left before the transfer window closes.

The Blues, who began their Premier League campaign with a goalless draw against Crystal Palace, are prioritising player sales to finance further signings. While Jackson has several suitors, concrete negotiations have yet to materialise. With time running out, Chelsea are under pressure to resolve his future, while the 23-year-old pushes for a move that guarantees consistent game time.
