Bashir Ahmad Defends Naira Marley Over Controversy

Former presidential aide Bashir Ahmad has come to the defense of Nigerian musician Naira Marley amid ongoing controversy. Speaking on the matter, Ahmad stated that he “wouldn’t have believed Naira Marley if he hadn’t documented everything so thoroughly—messages, calls, videos, and dates—from the very first day they started talking to the very last time.”

Ahmad praised the musician for maintaining meticulous records, which he says clearly demonstrate the truth of his interactions and disprove false narratives. He stressed that the evidence presented leaves little room for doubt regarding Marley’s version of events.

Reflecting on the unfair accusations leveled against the singer, Ahmad called for accountability, noting that “those who wrongly accused Naira Marley owe him an apology, at the very least.” He emphasized that public figures, particularly artists, are often vulnerable to misinformation, and thorough documentation can be a crucial tool in protecting their reputation.

By highlighting Marley’s diligence in keeping detailed records, Ahmad underscored the importance of evidence in settling disputes and urged critics to acknowledge the facts rather than rely on assumptions or hearsay.
