In its September Monthly Oil Market Report, the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) stated that there was a slight increase of 45,000 barrels per day in average daily crude production.
OPEC's report, which was based on information from the Nigerian government, revealed that the output for July stood at 1.30mbpd.
This increase follows a period of declining crude oil production.
The report highlighted that in May, Nigeria's daily oil production decreased further to 1.25 million barrels per day.
In accordance with OPEC data, Nigeria experienced a decrease of 30,000 barrels per day, with crude production declining from 1.28 million barrels per day in April to 1.25 million barrels per day in May.
Nigeria's daily oil production, which had been decreasing, saw a slight improvement in April, increasing from 1.23 million barrels per day in March to 1.28 million barrels per day, as reported by OPEC.
According to the organization, Nigeria's oil production rebounded by 50,000 barrels per day in April following a recent decline.
The country's crude production dropped from 1.32 million barrels per day in February to 1.23 million barrels per day in March.
According to reliable sources, there
was a decrease in production from 1.427mbpd in January to 1.322mbpd.
