The announcement was made through the pageant’s website and verified social media pages, with contestants representing different states across Nigeria.
Whoever emerges victorious will step into the shoes of Chidimma Adetshina, the outgoing queen, and proudly represent Nigeria at the global Miss Universe competition scheduled for later this year.
According to the organisers, the competition is not only about physical beauty but also about influence and advocacy. Contestants are expected to champion impactful causes such as youth empowerment, gender equality, education, and healthcare.
