Barcelona has postponed the registration of its players until next week, according to Diario Sport.
The club says it is “confident that all outstanding registrations will be completed before La Liga kicks off on August 16.” Officials are finalising key financial processes that need approval before players can be officially added to the squad list.
The delay affects both new arrivals and players with pending contract renewals under La Liga’s strict salary cap rules.
Despite the temporary holdup, Barcelona remains optimistic, though it acknowledges that La Liga will “carefully scrutinise any registration document submitted” to ensure compliance.
