Key actions include:

 • Appointing a Fentanyl Czar to tackle the opioid crisis

 • Designating cartels as terr*rist organizations

 • Ensuring 24/7 surveillance at the border

 • Launching a Canada-U.S. Joint Strike Force to combat organized crime, fentanyl traff*cking, and money laundering

 • Signing a new intelligence directive focused on organized crime and fentanyl, backed by $200 million

In response, the U.S. has agreed to pause tariffs for 30 days to allow Canada time to implement these measures.
